Hugh Olsonhe has been named director of training and educationFaculty of Advocates.
Mr Olson assumes the reinsNeil Mackenzie, QC.
Since 1995, the Faculty has had seven directors. Four of the seven directors have been members.Arnot Manderson–Sheriff Kenneth Campbell, QC?Sheriff Pino di EmidioNow, Mr Mackenzie and Mr Olson.
According to Mr Olson, “Neil has reestablished the Faculty’s Training and Education Programme on solid foundations after the disruption caused the Covid pandemic.”
Neil had to find innovative ways to deliver the programme online because of the disruption. I am grateful to Neil for his efforts in providing high-quality training for members and devils.
