A&L Goodbody has suggested long-time customer General Electric (GE) about the 30 billion mix of GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services) along with AerCap.
The landmark deal, which will see GECAS integrated into Irish aircraft lessor AerCap, supports GE’s transformation into a more concentrated, easier, and more powerful industrial firm.
GE will have 46 percent of AerCap as a consequence of the trade.
The ALG team counseling GE was headed by business and M&A spouse Berni Hosty, with assistance from aviation and transportation fund partner David Berkery and taxation associate James Somerville.
This follows the company’s information to Aedficia on its own entrance to the Irish market in February, as it obtained Bridhaven nursing home, the biggest private senior residential care home in Ireland, for $25 million.
The Simmons team counseling Aedifica on the two prices was led by corporate partner David Brangam and property associate Peter McKeever.
Mr Brangam explained:”I’m pleased our Dublin staff was in a position to notify Aedifica on its own entrance into Ireland and its continuing growth here. Ireland is the seventh largest country where Aedifica currently has an existence as part of its own exciting investment strategies across the European health care industry.”
Sven Bogaerts, Aedifica’s primary legal and M&A officer, stated:”We’re extremely fortunate to have worked on our entrance into Ireland using the Simmons & Simmons staff in Dublin, headed by David Brangam and Peter McKeever.
“Not only do they have good insight into and understanding of the Irish health and property businesses but they cope with all things economically, commercially and having a fantastic sense of humor, which helps if the stress is on.”
